Elenors Grove, Ryde will close between 7.30pm and 6am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. A reminder has been issued for motorists to not use Firestone Copse Road as it is unsuitable for heavy traffic and large vehicles.
Today is the start of the one-way closure of St George’s Way. The road will run one-way for traffic between St George’s Roundabout to Shide Road for an expected three weeks. All traffic in the opposite direction will be diverted via Shide Road and Medina Avenue to reach Newport.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.00 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
