Good morning, everyone! After an overcast morning, the Met Office is promising broken cloud and some sunny spells during the afternoon, with the odd shower thrown in for good measure! Temperatures will range from 9 to 11 degrees C, accompanied by moderate SW (becoming WSW) winds, with localised gusts of up to 40mph.
Morton Common in Sandown remains closed due to flooding. Keep in mind that traffic at Yarbridge Cross cannot now turn left or right, as New Road is also closed.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.45 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
