Good morning, everyone! The weather now seems to have stabilised and we’ve apparently some brighter days to look forward to, starting with a mostly sunny day today with scattered cloud throughout. Temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees C, accompanied by light WSW winds.
Yarmouth Road, between Whitehouse Road and the Calbourne and Porchfield Footpath 8 (near Elm Lane), has been closed. The road will also be shut again tomorrow.
The Cowes-Southampton Red Jet ferry route will operate a revised timetable for at least the next three days, with 12 crossings cancelled daily.
Red Funnel has confirmed that work is being carried out on the starboard engines of Red Jet 6, leaving Red Jet 7 as the only vessel operating on the route.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.30 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
