Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is forecasting a rather mixed bag of weather today. A fine early start will precede an 80% chance of rain showers from 09.00 to 13.00, followed by thick cloud until 16.00, after which we should see sunny spells until rain takes over from 23.00 and through the night. Temperatures will range from 11 to 13 degrees C, accompanied by light and variable S winds.
07.30 – There are currently 45 minute delays on all Portsmouth/Fishbourne vehicle ferry sailings, in both directions.
The Cowes Floating Bridge remains suspended until Tuesday 19/05. The Jenny Boat will ferry passengers and bicycles across the Medina.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.30 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
