After a morning of both fog and mist, the afternoon will begin with overcast conditions until circa 15.00, at which point the cloud should become broken, allowing some sun to shine through for the rest of the day. Temperatures will range from 9 to 12 degrees C, accompanied by light and variable S winds.
The Red Funnel Vehicle ferry sailings are currently “suspended between Southampton and East Cowes due to reduced visibility in Cowes Harbour.”
The Red funnel Red Jets are currently running but “delayed by up to 20 mins due to reduced visibility.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.15 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
