Good morning, everyone! The Isle of Wight should today enjoy a day of blue skies and sun throughout! Temperatures will range from 9 to 15 degrees C, accompanied by light to moderate variable E winds.
As expected, there are long delays into Newport on the Fairlee Road diversion route. Traffic is already backed up along Whiterails Road/Staplers and Long Lane at 07.45 this morning. There are also delays around Downend.
The following Red Jet sailings have been “cancelled due to a fuel leak on RJ7.”

All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.15 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
