Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is promising a bright and sunny day with scattered cloud and sun throughout! Temperatures will range from 8 to 13 degrees C, accompanied by light and variable E winds.
With Fairlee Road now closed, lengthy delays are being reported on Staplers Road, Whiterails Road and Park Road.
The following WightLink Y/L vehicle ferry sailings are currently delayed by 45 minutes:
Yarmouth to Lymington – 07.45 and 09.00
Lymington to Yarmouth – 08.00
From the Southern Vectis Bus CS team:
Due to the closure of Fairlee Road, traffic coming into Newport is queuing from Lushington Hill all the way into Newport, This will cause significant delays to routes 5 & 9 this morning. Please allow extra time for your journeys.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.00 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
