Most of our school runs comprise of children with additional/special needs. The owner of Friendly Cabs is well versed in how to appropriately communicate with SEN students, and his wife is an experienced teacher at one of the main Isle of Wight SEN schools. If your child is to be transported by one of our taxis then please contact us before the first run to let us know how we can make him/her as comfortable as possible whilst in our care. We normally recommend a quick visit by the driver to your home to meet the student so he/she knows who will be driving them and in which vehicle. This helps to alleviate the anxiety associated with the unknown.
