A LOVELY DAY WITH WESSEX REGIONAL CARE AND MARGERET’S WONDERFUL DRAWINGS!

Last year I had the privilege of driving the lovely ladies and gents from Wessex Regional Care.

They visited the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary in Sandown and everyone, including myself, had a wonderful day! One of the ladies promised faithfully to draw me some pictures from the day and email them to me, and true to her word, I just received two fantastic dinosaur pictures this morning!

DO FRIENDLY CABS HAVE A BOOKING APP?

No, we don’t! Whilst learning the taxi trade, I worked for two companies, one of which used an island based app. I found the app to be unreliable, both for customers and taxi drivers.

On multiple occasions I would arrive at the booked destination to find the customer had left without cancelling the booking. At other times I heard of drivers accepting a booking but not fulfilling it.

No-one should feel excluded or uncomfortable in a Friendly Cabs taxi. You may not be able to verbally “speak” to us, so we promise to do our best to kindly  and competently communicate with you. Our drivers are “Makaton Stage 1” sign language trained and Friendly Cabs is Communications Access UK certified. Our taxis also have a “Widgit Symbols” cheat sheet installed.
