“Friendly Cabs” To Become The First UK Taxi Company To Be “Communications Access UK” Accredited & Have “Makaton Sign Language” Trained Drivers
No-one should feel excluded or uncomfortable in a Friendly Cabs taxi. You may not be able to verbally “speak” to us, so we promise to do our best to kindly and competently communicate with you. Our drivers are “Makaton Stage 1” sign language trained and Friendly Cabs is Communications Access UK certified. Our taxis also have a “Widgit Symbols” cheat sheet installed.
