We want your journey with us to be as relaxed and enjoyable as is humanly possible. We’re often the first point of contact for people coming to the island via the ferries and we want them to start their trips in the best possible way!

Our drivers are all fully (enhanced) DBS checked, friendly, polite, punctual and know how to smile! Our vehicles are kept spotlessly clean and well maintained in order to provide you with the professional and reliable service so many have come to expect from us.

A trip is not just about getting from A to B, it’s also about what happens in between those two points, and we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to make that experience a positive one for all our passengers.

We always strive to be kind, patient and “inclusive” and to provide transport that is accessible to all, and for that reason, Friendly Cabs is fully accredited by Communications Access UK, who train our drivers to better understand how to communicate with passengers with impairments and/or disabilities. In September this year (2023), all our drivers will take the Stage 1 Makaton sign language course, which will enable them to competently speak to those who might be non-verbal.
