If it’s any consolation, tomorrow should be sunny, but for today, the Met Office is forecasting rain and strong winds throughout, with a Yellow Warning for heavy rain now in place until 21.00 this evening. Temperatures will fluctuate between 10 and 12 degrees C, accompanied by moderate to strong (and variable) S winds, with localised gusts of up to 55mph.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.45 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
