Good morning, everyone. The Met Office is predicting a warm day with plenty of cloud and some scattered sunny spells during the morning and early evening. Temperatures will range from 16 to 22 degrees C, accompanied by light N winds.
Red Funnel has cancelled several vehicle ferry and Red Jet sailings this morning.
The 06.40 Red Jet from Cowes has been cancelled “to facilitate essential repairs to Red Jet 7.”
The 09.30 and 12.30 vehicle ferry sailings from East Cowes, as well as the 08.00 and 11.00 sailings from Southampton have all been “cancelled due to essential repairs on the Red Eagle aft engine.”
We’re unsure if further cancellations will ensue.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.15 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
