Good morning, everyone. After a damp and cloudy start, the Met Office is promising a bright and sunny day from 11.00 onwards. Temperatures will range from 16 to 22 degrees C, accompanied by moderate WSW winds.
Due to the helicopter crash on the A3020 Shanklin Road, between Whiteley Bank and Shanklin, the road remains closed while the scene is being investigated.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.00 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
