Good morning, everyone! After a very cloudy and foggy morning, the Met Office is forecasting broken cloud from midday onwards. Temperatures will range from 2 to 7 degrees C, accompanied by light NE winds.
All WightLink Fast Cat sailings, in both directions, are currently delayed by 30 minutes due to fog on the Solent.
After several early morning Red Funnel vehicle ferry and Red Jet cancellations, both services have now resumed. The vehicle ferry cancellations were “due to ‘essential maintenance’, whilst a technical issue with Red Jet 6’s port generator led to the halt of the passenger only service.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 09.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
