Good morning, everyone! It is beginning to feel like the warm weather is tailing off as we approach the latter part of the summer. The Met Office is forecasting a cooler day again, with scattered cloud in the morning and heavier cloud during the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees C, accompanied by light and variable N winds.

The 32 cancellations are due to a mechanical issue on board the firm’s Wight Ryder FastCat vessel.
The 10.45am, 11.45am, 12.45pm, 1.45pm, 2.45pm, 3.45pm, 4.45pm and 5.45pm sailings from Portsmouth to Ryde Pier Head will not run on both Saturday and Sunday.
Crossings between the Island and the mainland will not run at 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm, 4.15pm and 5.15pm.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.15 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
