Good morning, everyone! After some much needed rain this morning, the Met Office is forecasting drier weather after lunch with scattered cloud and sunny spells. Temperatures will range from 18 to 22 degrees C, accompanied by light and variable W winds.
Drivers should be attentive on the roads today as there may be localised flooding. The ground is currently extremely hard and will struggle to absorb the rainfall quickly, leading to quantities of residual water in places.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.30 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 01983 506975
