Good morning, everyone! It’s currently cloudless here in East Cowes but the Met Office is forecasting cloudy conditions from 08.00, followed by broken cloud and sun from around midday until 16.00 when thicker cloud will once again set in, with rain arriving from 21.00 onwards. Temperatures will range from minus 3 degrees C in the morning to plus 6 by 20.00. Winds will be light and WSW (becoming SW).
Temperatures were expected to hit minus 9 last night, so expect very icy conditions on some roads. Areas of road that are not heated by the sun could remain icy throughout the day, so extreme caution whilst driving is advised.

All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
