Good morning, everyone! Just as the Met Office promised yesterday, it’s going to be a bright and sunny Christmas Eve, with blue skies throughout the day! As expected, temperatures have now dropped to a warm coat inducing 3 to 5 degrees C, accompanied by light to moderate ENE (becoming NE) winds.
The 11.15 Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Fat Cat sailing has been cancelled. No reason for the cancellation has thus far been published.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 09.00 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
