Good morning, everyone! After a very wet morning with heavy showers and thunder, the Met Office is promising sunny conditions from midday onwards. Temperatures will fluctuate between 12 and 17 degrees C, accompanied by moderate WSW winds.
The 08.30 Red Funnel vehicle ferry from East Cowes has been “cancelled due to Essential maintenance required to a critical item of equipment.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.00 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
