Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is forecasting a bright and sunny day with blue skies throughout. Temperatures will fluctuate between 14 and 22 degrees C, accompanied by light WSW winds.
The 06.40 Red Jet sailing from East Cowes and the 07.15 from Southampton have both been “cancelled due to necessary maintenance required to a mandatory item of equipment.”
The Island Echo is reporting that further sailings have been cancelled but those are not showing as cancelled on the Red Funnel website:

All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.15 this morning and, apart from the Cowes diversion, there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
