Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is promising us a dry and sunny day with temperatures set to fluctuate between 7 and 11 degrees C, accompanied by light NNE (becoming N) winds.

“Part of the Middle Road (B3401) will be closed from Nodgham Lane on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm for BT Openreach works.” The closure starts where Middle Road begins at Carisbrooke.
“Following the last session of carriageway resurfacing works overnight, Barracks Shute, Niton is now open with our team moving to Atherley road, Shanklin, tomorrow night.”
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.45 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
