Good morning, everyone. We’re expecting a very cold but sunny day again today. Temperatures will fluctuate between minus 1 and plus 4 degrees C, accompanied by light WNW winds.
There are several reports of ice on our roads. At Nodes Point, St Helens there is apparently sheet ice for 40 yards along the road. Another report is of a large ice patch on Park Road, Cowes, adjacent to the car park between Ward Avenue and Union Road.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.30 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
