A WET START TO FRIDAY – 06/09/2024

Good morning, everyone. The Met Office is promising us a wet first half to the day, with the rain set to clear by midday, resulting in a dry and partially sunny afternoon and evening. Temperatures will fluctuate between 14 and 17 degrees C, accompanied by light WNW winds.

The Island Line train network closes today until October 06 while engineers complete a major programme of maintenance.

The following Red Funnel vehicle ferries have been “cancelled due to extended works on the forward Voith Unit for the Red Eagle.”

12 sailings have been cancelled in total today, the same number that were cancelled yesterday.

From Southampton:

05:00, 08:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 20:00

From East Cowes:

06:30, 09:30, 12:30, 15:30, 18:30 and 21:30
