Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is predicting another wet and windy Tuesday! A Yellow Warning for rain is in place until 10.00 this morning, after which we could see further patches of raining throughout the day. Temperatures will fluctuate between 8 and 9 degrees C, accompanied by moderate to high W winds.
The 09.00 Red Funnel vehicle ferry from East Cowes is “cancelled due to adverse weather exceeding Red Osprey’s operating limits.”
From the Hover travel website:
“Services are currently operating with a delay of up to 15 minutes.”
The Floating Bridge remains out of service.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.15 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
