According to the Met Office we can expect heavy rain throughout the day from 08.00 onwards. A Yellow Warning for heavy rain is in place until 23.45 tonight. Temperatures will fluctuate between 13 and 18 degrees C, accompanied by light to moderate NNE winds.
The following Red Funnel vehicle ferry sailings have been cancelled today:
From Southampton:
05.00, 08.00, 11.00 and 14.00.
From East Cowes:
06.00, 09.00, 12.30 and 15.30.
The cancellations are due to the ongoing technical issue with Red Eagle‘s Voith unit.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either traffic or roads.
