Good morning, everyone. It would seem we’re in for a fairly bright and sunny day, at least until around 21.00, when rain is expected to set in for the night. Temperatures will fluctuate between 7 and 10 degrees C, accompanied by light W (becoming ESE) winds.

“Route 2 – From 08:00 until 16:00 on Tuesday 26th November, Merstone Lane will be closed.
Route 2 will divert via Blackwater Hollow & Rookley to reach Godshill. This is in both directions.
Stops between and including Blackwater Quarry & RSPCA Shelter will not be served.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
