Good morning, everyone. The Met Office is promising a mostly sunny day with the chance of some light rain between 09.00 and 10.00. Temperatures will fluctuate between 5 and 7 degrees C, accompanied by moderate WNW winds, with gusts of up to 51mph.
Whitehouse Road, one of the main routes between Newport and Cowes, is reportedly still closed following a serious crash last night.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.30 this morning, and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
