Good morning, everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve been able to mention the “weather” and “sun” in the same sentence but that day has finally arrived! The Met Office expects sunny conditions throughout the day with temperatures fluctuating between 6 and 12 degrees C, accompanied by light N winds.
Southern Vectis Buses have some route diversions today. From their Twitter feed:
“Routes 6, 7 & 12 – From 07:00 on 11th November until 17:00 on 15th November, Newport High Street will be closed. Only buses towards Newport will be affected, and will divert via Whitepit Lane. Lukely Terrace, Simeon Monument & Drill Hall Road stops will not be served.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.45 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a wonderful start to your week! 01983 506975
