Good morning everyone! It would seem we’re in for a mostly cloudy day with some sunny spells forecast from 14.00 until early evening. Temperatures will fluctuate between 12 and 16 degrees C, accompanied by light NNE winds.

“Whitepit Lane will be closed today until 3rd October 18:00. Stops not served will be from Castle Hill to Medina Ave. Buses will serve Carisbrooke High St., Cedar Hill and then The Mall into Newport High Street.”
WightLink has cancelled 2 of its late night FastCat sailings tonight “due to essential maintenance on the boarding ramp at Portsmouth Harbour”. The 22:45 sailing from Portsmouth Harbour and the 23:10 sailing from Ryde Pier Head will both be cancelled to allow the engineering teams access to complete the works.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.00 this morning and there are no further reported problems with either our roads or traffic, thus far.
