Good morning, everyone! The Met Office has issued a somewhat conflicting weather forecast for today. On the one hand it’s issued a Yellow Warning for heavy rain covering most of the South, including the Isle of Wight. The local forecast, however, predicts fairly light rain until 11.00, followed by cloud with some patches of sunshine and a 20% to 50% chance of precipitation. Temperatures should fluctuate between 16 and 19 degrees C, accompanied by light SE winds.
The Floating Bridge remains out of action and will do so until 05.00 on Friday 27/09.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.15 this morning.
Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a super Sunday! 01983 506975
