A FOGGY START TO A BRIGHT AND SUNNY WEDNESDAY – 05/03/2025

Good morning, everyone! After a very foggy and misty start to the day, the sun is expected to show its face from around 09.00 onwards. Temperatures will fluctuate between 4 and a balmy 13 degrees C, accompanied by light E (becoming S) winds.

From the WightLink status page:

The 07.15 and 08.15 Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Fast Cats are running 30 minutes late, as are the 07.45 and 08.45 from Ryde to Portsmouth Harbour.

All Red Funnel vehicle ferries have been “suspended due to reduced visibility in (East) Cowes Harbour.”

Customers travelling today will need to keep an eye on the RF Live Status page to see when the service resumes. Long delays will be a distinct possibility once the service does resume.

Unfortunately, the above linked page is not working properly and the timetable FROM East Cowes cannot currently be accessed.

All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.15 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.

Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 01983 506975
