A DULL AND WET FRIDAY – 21/02/2025

Good morning, everyone. It looks like we’re in for a dull and wet day with rain forecast from 13.00 onwards. Temperatures will hover between 10 and 12 degrees C, accompanied by moderate SSW winds with gusts of up to 40mph in places.

“Sorry, due to the absence of an essential crew member today, some customers may experience delays of up to 30 mins on our Har-Ryd FastCat service.”

WightLink Fishbourne/Portsmouth vehicle ferry cancellations and delays:

The 09.00, 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 17.00, 19.00 and 21.00 Fishbourne to Portsmouth vehicle ferry sailings have all been cancelled due to St. Clare being withdrawn from service due to a mechanical issue.

On the reverse Portsmouth to Fishbourne route the 10.00, 12.00, 14.00, 16.00, 18.00 and 20.00 sailings are also all cancelled.

The 03.00 and 05.00 Portsmouth to Fishbourne WightLink vehicle ferry sailings are both delayed by 6 hours and will now sail at 09.00 and 11.00 respectively.
The 09.00 and 11.00 Portsmouth to Fishbourne sailings are delayed by 90 minutes.

The 10.00 and 12.00 Fishbourne to Portsmouth sailings are delayed by 30 mins.

All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 08.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
