Good morning, everyone. After a damp start, the Met Office is promising brighter conditions from 10.00 this morning. Temperatures will fluctuate between 3 and 7 degrees C, accompanied by moderate W winds with gusts of up to 46mph in places.
From the Hover Travel website:
“Services are cancelled due to adverse weather. The next update will be 07.45 – Tickets will be accepted on the Wightlink Fast Cat Service. – Please see our Disruption Contingency Plan web page.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.30 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
