Good morning, everyone. You wouldn’t have thought it looking out of the window here in East Cowes, but the Met Office is promising a very cloudy day with rain expected from 12 midday to around 16.00. Temperatures should fluctuate between 17 and 19 degrees C, accompanied by moderate SSW winds.
Red Funnel’s vehicle ferry continues to be affected by the reduced service today but long delays are not expected. From their website:
“We are expecting minimal disruption on Thursday 8 August. Customers who were booked on cancelled/affected sailings will be moved to the nearest available sailings, and contacted shortly with their updated sailing times.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.00 this morning and there are no newly reported problems with our roads or traffic.
Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a terrific Thursday! 01983 506975
