Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is promising us a cold and wet Wednesday. Rain, sleet and possibly snow will fall from our skies from mid-day onwards. If snow does hit it’s likely to just be on the north half of the island and the IW Met Service doesn’t believe it will accumulate. Temperatures will fluctuate between 2 and 4 degrees C, accompanied by moderate E (becoming NE) winds. With the temperatures being so low, combined with wet conditions, we will likely see ice on the roads this evening and into tomorrow. The IW Met Service has issued a Severe Weather Warning for ice for between 01.00 and 13.00 tomorrow.
All island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.45 this morning, and there are no reported problems with either our roads or traffic.
Friendly Cabs is open and operating normally. We wish you all a safe and wonderful Wednesday! 01983 506975
