Good morning, everyone! The Met Office is promising a sunny day after a cloudy early start, with temperatures between 16 and 22 degrees C, accompanied by light WSW winds.
As the Red Funnel vehicle ferry disruption continues, this is from their website today:
“We are expecting minimal disruption on Tuesday 6 August. Customers who were booked on cancelled/affected sailings will be moved to the nearest available sailings, and contacted shortly with their updated departure times.”
WightLink have cancelled 4 morning sailings on their Fishbourne/Portsmouth vehicle ferry. Due to the “absence of an essential crew member” the following ferries have been cancelled:
07:40 & 09:40 cancelled
06:40 & 08:40 cancelled
There are multiple diversions across several Southern Vectis bus routes today, so if you’re planning to travel by SV bus, please check that your route is not affected.
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 06.45 this morning.
