Good morning, everyone! It’s set to be a bright and sunny Wednesday, with temperatures of between 16 and 22 degrees C in the shade, accompanied by light WSW winds.
From the Cowes Floating Bridge website:
“Wednesday 7th August 2024 There will be a service suspension for two hours between 10:00am to 12:00noon. A launch service will be in place for foot passengers and cyclists only during this time.”
Red Funnel continues to run a reduced vehicle ferry service today and tomorrow. This is from their website today:
“We are expecting minimal disruption on Wednesday 7 August. Customers who were booked on cancelled/affected sailings will be moved to the nearest available sailings, and contacted shortly with their updated departure times.”
All other island travel services appear to be running to schedule, as of 07.30 this morning. No further traffic or road problems have thus far been reported.
